Mid Rise Ankle Distressed Straight Leg Jeans

I love the ankle distressing up close. I wanted a little more space to tuck in a thicker top. The outfit still worked out.

Something about the ankle distressing just makes me happy to get dressed in the morning.

I tried them with the sneakers by my front door just to see and liked the way it changed the outfit.

I put on these jeans with low black shoes because I was tired of planning a whole outfit just to take my car in. Ten minutes later I was digging around for my good white sneakers to see what else I could do with it. I don't normally have that much fun getting dressed before I've had coffee.

My first thought was that the ankle distressing would be the only reason I wanted these jeans, so I was surprised when I tried them with a half-tucked tee and liked the fit enough to go out right then. Now I put them on even when the most exciting thing I'm doing is going to get sandwiches with a friend.

I put these on at about seven in the morning to get coffee and forgot to change before I went to my friend's place that night. The worn spots make the blue feel like me and the ankle hem is cute with the sneakers I always wear. A good pair for the day that keeps adding another thing to it.

The straight leg with my old brown boots is exactly how I hoped this would look. The legs hang the way I like even after I sit down for a while.
