Regenerative Cotton

Regenerative cotton farming takes a soil-first approach to cultivating one of denim’s essential fibers. Practices such as crop rotation, cover cropping and reduced tillage are designed to rebuild soil health, encourage biodiversity and support natural carbon storage. When effectively implemented, these methods can help reduce farming-related emissions, strengthen land resilience and improve long-term crop productivity—contributing to a more responsible cotton supply chain and healthier agricultural ecosystems.

Recycled Cotton

At the end of a garment’s useful life, suitable textiles may be recovered through garment recycling. Items are collected, sorted by fiber composition, cleared of trims, cleaned and mechanically broken down into reusable fibers. The recovered cotton is then spun—often with other fibers—into recycled cotton yarn, giving existing materials another purpose in the creation of new denim and fabrics.

TENCEL™ (Lyocell)

Known for their smooth feel and versatile performance, TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers can be blended with cotton, wool and other textile fibers. Depending on the fabric construction, these blends may enhance strength, moisture management and softness against the skin—making them well suited to comfortable, adaptable garments.

Shared standards across our supply chain.

Every supplier joining the ONESO network is required to review and sign our Supplier Code of Conduct. Informed by the ETI Base Code and relevant ILO conventions, it defines our minimum expectations for fair employment, workplace health and safety, and environmental compliance.

Independent third-party factory audits help us assess whether these standards are being upheld and whether production partners comply with applicable local laws. Factories producing for ONESO are reviewed every one to two years.

Denim is at the heart of our business. Our long-standing relationships with trusted denim mills and laundries allow us to collaborate closely on distinctive washes, consistent quality and more responsible production methods. Through regular engagement with our partners, we continue to strengthen craftsmanship, encourage innovation and improve how our denim is made.

Across our denim laundry facilities, we use advanced finishing technologies—including laser systems, E-Flow and ozone equipment—alongside more responsible washing and dyeing processes. These methods help us create authentic denim finishes with greater precision while reducing reliance on traditional stonewashing, intensive chemical treatments, water and energy.

Cold Trans

Our Cold Transfer process reduces water, energy and eliminates chemicals. Our designs are applied to fabric by digitally printing patterns onto a special film which is then pressed onto white denim. This creates jeans with: Estimated 90% less water usage, 40% less energy without harsh chemicals.

We work with our global supply chain partners to promote responsible recruitment and employment practices that address worker-paid fees, restricted movement, excessive hours and unfair compensation.
Our expectations are clear:

• Workers should not pay recruitment fees to secure employment.
• Any prohibited recruitment-related fees should be reimbursed promptly.
• Workers should retain control of their passports and travel documents, with freedom of movement.
• Employment terms should be communicated clearly, in a language each worker understands, before employment begins.
